In a move that saves the team $7.5 million in cap space, the New York Jets released veteran Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall. The veteran receiver turns 33 before next season and is coming off one of his worst statistical years as a pro. His 59 receptions and three TDs in 2016 were the second lowest of his career (rookie year he caught just 20 passes).
